The Hawaii H.O.M.E. Project
The goal of Hawaii H.O.M.E. (Homeless Outreach and Medical Education) Project is to improve access to and the quality of healthcare for Hawaii's homeless. We also aim to increase student and physician awareness and understanding of the issues that face the the homeless in Hawaii.
Hawaii H.O.M.E. Project is a John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) student-run free clinic staffed by volunteers, including:
- University of Hawaii premedical students
- JABSOM medical students
- University of Hawaii resident physicians
- University of Hawaii attending physicians
