WEBINAR: Meeting the Needs of Unhoused Women with Reproductive Health and Harm Reduction in PhoenixJoin the Street Medicine Institute Student Coalition for a webinar with speakers Erin, Claire, Alana, and Hannah, from the Street Medicine Phoenix team, and medical students at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix! While men are more likely to experience homelessness, women face unique health challenges associated with unsheltered living. Reproductive health supplies, including pads and tampons, are often an unmet and overlooked need for unhoused women. Street Medicine Phoenix is a student-driven healthcare and social justice initiative coordinated through the University of Arizona that meets individuals where they are to provide medical care and essential supplies. This webinar will highlight the work of Street Medicine Phoenix, with a focus on the Reproductive Health team, discussing what we provide, how we operate, and why addressing reproductive health and harm reduction is a critical component of caring for unhoused women.
